My dog Nicki is in this photo. She is far better looking than I even though she's still a baby. She's also very smart and energetic. Part of my days are spent waiting for her to run out of energy and fall asleep again.
I teach U.S. History at a NYC college and I'm president of a not for profit that advocates for the preservation of historic architecture and landscape design.
And I've been a photographer on and off for the last few decades or so, among other things. Plus I play a mean doumbek (seriously).
I am still a lover of film photography but an increasingly less reluctant user of digital. My images are in a few museums and have been reasonably well published over the years but there's always more to do.
